Indigenous protestors gathered in a peaceful demonstration against World Energy Gh2’s construction of wind turbines on their ancestral land. The company has been accused of causing destruction to the land in the process of their work and blocking access to important cultural sites.

In response, World Energy Gh2 hired retired police officer Matt, who has 28 years of experience in the police force and over 20 years as part of Emergency Response Teams, including over 10 years as Team Leader. Matt has planned and executed several hundred tactical operations and has trained thousands of law enforcement and military personnel in various tactical platforms, such as basic and advanced SWAT, firearms, hostage rescue, and leadership.

Despite Matt’s extensive background, the Indigenous community and their allies held a peaceful protest to bring attention to their cause and call for the protection of their ancestral land. The demonstration was a success, with participants expressing their concerns in a non-violent manner.

This peaceful protest is a testament to the strength and resilience of the Indigenous community, who have been fighting for their rights and the protection of their land for generations. The demonstration also brings attention to the larger issue of corporations disregarding the rights and concerns of Indigenous communities in the pursuit of profit.

World Energy Gh2 and other companies operating on Indigenous land must respect the rights of these communities and work to find a solution that is fair and sustainable for all parties involved. The peaceful protest serves as a reminder of the importance of protecting our planet and its inhabitants, and we hope that World Energy Gh2 will take the necessary steps to ensure the protection of Indigenous land and culture.
